SLEEPING AT RIFUGIO COLDAI

Rifugio Coldai has different types of rooms:

  • 2-person rooms with bunk beds
  • 4-person rooms with bunk beds
  • larger dormitories with bunk beds
  • bivouac outside the refuge, accessible even during the winter closing period

All accommodations are equipped with duvets/blankets.

The use of a sheet bag is mandatory.

The bathrooms on the floor are shared. There are no private bathrooms in the rooms.

A coin-operated hot shower service is available.

USEFUL INFORMATION

  • We accept credit card payments (except American Express). However, we cannot guarantee that the service is always active due to frequent connection problems.

 

  • We always have some dishes available for vegetarians, lactose intolerants, vegans, gluten intolerants (not a wide choice). However, since we only have one kitchen, we cannot guarantee that there is no cross-contamination.

 

  • To sleep in the rifugio you need to use a sleeping bag sheet. (If you don't have one, you can buy a disposable TNT one directly at the refuge). We do not provide towels.

 

  • Dogs are welcome in the rifugio. However, in order to stay overnight with your dog, it is necessary to book a private room in advance.

 

  • Please prefer to communicate by email for any requests regarding reservations and for any information that is not urgent.

 

  • Breakfast is served from 06:30. Dinner is served from 18:30.

 

  • Rooms must be vacated by 08:00.

 

  • Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 19:00.

 

  • Packed lunches can be requested upon arrival at the rifugio, for the following day. In case of large groups, they must be requested at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

At the time of booking we retain € 30.00/person as a deposit.

The balance must be paid directly at the refuge, at check out.

 

THE DEPOSIT IS INDIVIDUAL: In the event of a reduction in the number of participants compared to the initial booking, the amount not enjoyed by actual presence in the refuge will be managed according to the cancellation policies.

 

CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION:

  • Up to 30 days before the arrival date: 100% refund of the amount paid as a deposit
  • From 29 to 11 days before the arrival date: 50% refund of the amount paid as a deposit
  • From 10 days before the arrival date: loss of the entire amount paid as a deposit, without further penalties
  • In case of cancellation, EVEN PARTIAL, made from 2 days before the booked date and for NO SHOW, the full amount of half board will be charged.

 

In the event of confirmed adverse weather, it will be possible, FOR ONE CHANCE ONLY, to use the deposit paid for a subsequent overnight stay during the current season, subject to availability. This option is valid ONLY if the Rifugio is notified by email at least 2 days in advance.
